Got to love The Herdsman. Great products and service. We drive in from the hills so my wife can get the pear and walnut salad and a continental roll from the cafe (but always end up leaving with a trolley full of other things we’ve found in store).

Expensive (prices almost rival the Boatshed), but The Herdsman does offer a great range of premium local premium produce/stores, as well as some fantastic ready made meals perfect for a mid-week dinner after a long day in the office.

Disappointed at the service today. Maybe I'm asking too much but would have preferred to be greeted, told how much my groceries were, and have at least a tiny bit of help packing my groceries. Instead it looked like the service attendant was having a good joke and chat her other friends/staff at the check-out while I was busy packing my bag. Never had this sort of service at Floreat market. Wish they could staff swap.

Grabbed a coffee and got some pre-packaged food here. Pretty good service, layout and selection of foods and goods. Really nicely put together. Staff were friendly and even offered a box to take my groceries with me. Awesome grocer/deli/cafe

Went there because my butcher is still away. Bought a packet of 'premium' mince. Got it home, went to cut it. And all the good mince was on the outside.inside was all fatty darker meat. It was like a big mince pattie this is a dishonest tactic i have not seen before. I will never return to this place. Rather just go to an honest butcher. And you know, if they just seperate the normal fatty mince, and sold it seperately. I wouldnt mind paying whatever the cost. But this is so dishonest.

A great little grocery store with butcher and bakery in store. A little pricey but good quality. Tasty ready to eat meals or take home to heat and eat.

Produce is absolute quality, cannot argue! They have a great range of gourmet ingredients and fresh produce as well as an artisan bakery, fish shop, and butcher, And flower/plant store, all under the same roof. Parking can be an issue when they’re busy, which is quite often. The prices are considerably high, but this can be justified by the high quality. Would not recommend doing your weekly shop here, but for a few ingredients or needing something quickly to entertain guests, it’s great 👍

Fantastic, locally sourced produce. Great coffees, fantastic pre made lunches, desserts etc. The space is beautifully used and also very well laid out.
